In California, the buyer’s agent who initiates the showing is responsible for the buyer signing the PEAD form. Some agents provide you with the signed PEAD as a showing agent so you can forward it to the listing agent. Others send the PEAD form directly to the listing agent. 

We believe that the showing agent also needs to sign a PEAD form and provide it to the listing agent. Exactly how this process takes place should be communicated between the buyer’s agent and the showing agent.
