Open houses are outside of our normal scope of business and we do not currently offer a specific solution for them. We do, however, know that some agents use a simple workaround to accommodate open houses.
When scheduling a showing, make a note in the ‘public remarks’ section that lets the agent know it’s an open house. The fee should also be higher to cover the extra time at the property. Once the showing is accepted, it is the initiating agent’s responsibility to ensure the showing agent understands that it’s for an open house.
