Agent safety is very important to us at Showami and we do everything we can to ensure our platform is a secure place for real estate professionals to do business.

At this time, we aren’t able to verify a buyer’s identity. This is because the agent that initiates the showing has the relationship with the buyer, so it is their responsibility to verify their buyer’s identity.

Once you’ve accepted a showing you will have access to the initiating agent’s contact details. We recommend reaching out to the agent and asking any questions you might have about the buyer. If you feel uncomfortable after speaking with the agent, you can cancel the showing without being charged a fee.

Please note that to ensure the safety of all agents, anyone found to be operating outside the terms of our platform is removed and blocked. If you have concerns about an agent’s professionalism, please contact us with the name of the agent and the reasons for your concerns.
